Artist Statement:

I have always been someone obsessed with France and everything French, or a Francophile, for as long as I can remember. My foreign language in high school and college was French. I took any and every opportunity presented to me to travel to Paris. I was fortunate to venture to the City of Lights in early Fall of 2016 with my husband and two of our close friends. They had never been to Paris before and their excitement was infectious. The Paris I saw on this trip appeared different to me. I felt I was seeing Paris, and her people, for the first time. I sought to capture those feelings with my camera. This exhibition is a collection of some of those moments, seen through the looking glass.
